Working in the domian of process automation, developing an Information Management System (IMS) for the oil and gas industry. IMS is defined as a collection of support systems, which on the basis of measurements and incidents on the installation, shall provide users with the opportunity to ensure the optimal level of operations and production. The IMS system has a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) consisting of several windows services, web services, web applications with an underlying SQL Server database. Central technologies used is ASP.NET 2.0, .NET Framework 3.5, LINQ, Ajax, Microsoft Team Foundation Server, and Web Part. Implementation in C#. For interprobability we use OPC UA.
As the Lead Engineer I am designing the Architecture for interprobability and the information model semantic.

Multilateral Interoperability Programme (MIP).
This is a NATO programme that aim to achieve international interoperability of information exchange for Command and Control Information Systems (C2IS). Interoperability of information is essiantal for combined joint operations. System interoperability is achived through database mapping. I am developing a database tool that creates datatypes according to MIP standard and business rules. Handling of business rules and conversion of data is achived through own components using the Broker/Provider pattern. The data type tool is based on technologies such as .NET, ADO.NET and XML, programmed in C#. Further i also been participating in MIP meetings in Greding, Germany. As a member in the Systems Engineering & Architecture Working Group (SEAWG).

Currently working on a large software project which is delivered to the Norwegian Army, participating in the entire software development process. Gathering requirements, developing Business Model, SRS and design documents, implementing the system in C++ and testing in computer labs. The software system is distributed and include a varity of functionality utiltized on several different components. The project is managed in several blocks and has two main deliveries a year. CMM software process level 3 is to be integrated in the next project phase, several preparations has been done in this phase.

Previosly worked on a project that that developed a Fire Support Control system to be used for demostrations to international customers. Had a double role both as a team leader and as a software developer, as a tema leader primary duties included following up co-workers, estimation, requirements responsibility, planning integration and system builds. As a softeware developer I developed application logic and was in charge of the architecture. Part of the system is running on mobile devices, working with these new problem areas, has given new valuable experience. To gain that rapid experience I developed a prototype that run on the .NET platform. The project delivered the system on schedule with the specified functionality. Other challenges that had my attention in this project is; component/system configuration for a product delivered to several customers with different requirements and needs. This include a product and configuration strategy.
